Iv been tryin to envision the bullnose truck with different visors and mirrors. I want to install a Peterbuilt style visor with the western style mirrors. I was wantin to see various visors even fiberglass. Can someone post a few pics?
BTW search didnt find much and all was for dentsides.
Its going to be hard to find. Unless you hit up ebay, those lund visors you are referencing are no longer made for these trucks. I was sad too as I love those suckers.
I was actually plannin on makin my own stainless steel visor like you see on Peterbilts or Kenworths. I was wantin to see people that had or have a visor weather it be the fiberglass or steel so I can get more references. Like I said my search really didnt draw much on our trucks.
Those lunds are sexy. Hey 00, I thought about what you were talking about here, a while back.
I was going to take measurements of my window area. Length, height, width mock them out on cardboard and then cut a fiberglass shell for that. In the inside of the visor I contemplated running cross braces made out of a plastic. After that I point I was going to cut out an inset area for a cablight. Not real sure what you are trying to get at, but there is an option if you like custom.
I do have one I took off a scrapper if someone is looking to get one. I like the look, but have been told they drop fuel mileage due to the drag from the air flowing into them. The big rig style may reduce the drag a bit, as they are more open than the Lund visors are.
