Hiss during boost leak test
I built the simple boost leak tester with the PVC cap and quick air disconnect. I found a couple of minor leaks on my boots, but there is a major hiss under and behind the turbo. I suspect it is the ebpv, but does it make sense that intake air could escape there? It is of course very hard to see, but I feel a definite stream coming from around a shaft of some sort, bottom passenger side if that helps.
First question, is this normal?
If not, is it the ebpv or something else?

I hear ya on the soap bubbles, that's the only way I found the minor leaks at a few boots. But the hiss under the turbo is a solid stream, can definitely feel it with your fingers under there... Doesn't seem that air should be allowed out of the system there, even if it's bleeding past a valve and going through the exhaust.
