Scanguauge temps
I was noticing while commuting to Houston that my coolant temp in the morning was 180. Then in the afternoon it will get up to at times 205-210. The question I'm asking what the normal temp should run?

IMO the normal temp should be around 190 unless your working it then it should only go up . 180 seams alittle low. You may want to change your thermistate and see what happens. just my 02

Not enough information. What the ambient temperature, speed, number of miles from cold start (or is it warm start in the afternoon)? For all we know, you're leaving at 3:00 AM at 45F, driving down hill and coming back at 4:00PM at 80F going up hill.
