Ordered sidewinder

I ordered a Reese Sidewinder from Cal Hitch and I can't wait to try it. Still need to get another 600 miles on my truck till I cal pull my 5er. I hope I will like it, did not get much feedback from my thread here. Hope no poped rear windows with this truck.

Our trailer in sig. came with it from the factory. Even with our truck having a eight foot bed I still like the sidewinder ,I keep a full size tool box in the bed and I can jack it over 90 deg. and it only comes within 5in. of the tool box , so that's over 2 feet from the back window .Only thing I can add is check your top turret bolts from time to time and retorque as nessary ,mine tend to get a touch loose from time to time so I made it part of my pre trip routine to check/torque them.
Happy Trails

Wow, received my Sidewinder today, should have eaten my Wheaties today took all I had to put the boxes in the truck. Going to need some help to install. Figure I can put it in the hitch to build then jack it up to connect to the 5er. Anybody have any experience and can give me some pointers?

Put my sidewinder on my 5er today, could not have been easier. Put it together on my tail gate. took all but 2 bolts out of the old pin box. Hooked up to my truck and puller the other 2 bolts out, drive forward and wolla. I then put my 3ton jack under the turret backed up under the pin box mount, jacked the new pin box into place. I then put all the bolts in, lowered the jack, pulled the truck out. Tightened all the bolts and I was done, not too bad all alone eh?
