SCT Programmer not working?

hey guys .... got my new SCT SF3 programmer in the mail yesterday.... plugged it into my 2005 f250 6.0 and nothing happens... tried it with the truck off and running... nothing..... so i figured to see what happens if i plug it into my buddies 07 mustang GT and it lit up right away... any body have any ideas as to whats going on???.... any help is much appreciated!

Check the cigar lighter fuse in the CJB under the column.
