IIRC.....on the far right side of the VIN plate.....should be a code for the axle. You might even be lucky enough to find an ID tag on the axle itself provided the P.O didnt remove it. 3:73's is a good guess.....dont be surprised if it has 4:10's
After nearly four decades the only certain way to know is to pull the cover and see for yourself, or you can get pretty close with the "turn tire once and count drive shaft revolutions" method.
My understanding is the lowest ratio available in a Dana 60 is 3.55:1. Assuming a 31.5" tire diameter and 62 MPH, I believe that would yield 2,292 RPM.
I'm not knowledgeable about what ratios were available with different engine/transmission option combinations.
