Cool leaking diesel

if a injector is clogged, would it leak from the injection pump cylinder, also is the fuel supply pump located on the top of the block or the side I haven,t looked and can't quite tell by the picture, looks like the top?

I would not think so.These motors/injectors are fired by high pressure oil.
The manual fuel pump is located towards the back of the valley on top of the motor. It does have a weep hole in it that can leak.Another possible leak is the 5/16'' hard line that runs back to the passenger side head.

Most fuel leaks are from either the fuel bowl or one of its sensors, fuel pump as mentioned, fuel pressure regulator on side of bowl, soft lines in the valley, hard lines possible too. Any fuel leak on top will run to the rear and out a hole on the pass. side down the rear of the motor. About all you can do is clean it up good and start looking for leaks. If you can find it, plenty of help here to get it fixed. There is no injection pump, just a fuel pump and a high pressure oil pump for the injectors.
