Well I finaly did it. Finaly made her some custom made side pipes! I used Flowtech Red Hot glass packs on both sides with 2.25" exhaust pipe and out turns on the end. She looks mean with them mounted up there. It only took about 26 hours of measuring, welding, grinding, and cutting to get it done. I think I may have gained a little touch of power with those too? Seeing as how the exhaust gasses dont have to go through a maze in a muffler, it just goes stright out.
Thanks, she does sound good. And I get to have the satisfaction of knowing that my friend and I made them rather then buying a kit. Although I bet my neighbors hate them though ha ha. It sounds realllly gooood when the secondarys open up. But sadly not as much as a chick magnet as I was hoping for ha ha. I did save a bit of money doing it this way though.
And how meny trucks, much less other vehicles, do you see with side pipes now a days?
