oddly it really didnt look to bad. a very small amount of run threw thats really it. no burns, no bluing. bearing have no sign of water damage or excessive heating.

well funny thing with ford and there cores. if all the parts are there you get the core credit.

Why did Ford cover the repair? I'm assuming there was some kind of warranty put on it when it was rebuilt
