Ok so I did this and put the button right next to my 4wd switch. I am assuming. when the switch is in the "on" position everything will work normal. Then when I swich it to the off position it will interrupt the signal to the unit causing the vacum pump to not come on. A little bit weird. So to get 2wd low to work I need to switch the toggle swich to off instead of on.

By the way I hooked up the switch to the pink and blue wire.

You don't want to stop the vacuum pump, you want to stop the solenoid from sending vacuum to the front hubs.

I don't know. I didn't do this because I don't use 2wd low that many times a year. Let us know how it turns out.

As far as I can tell it is. I haven't done this either. Just a link I saved for when I finally install a F650 dash. This will be one of the switches I hook up.
