I won!

Against a 1998 Volvo V70.

I was traveling down the highway in the right lane, volvo in the left lane. Around a bend he whips into my lane, while I'm still next to him. My front quarter and his entire passenger side colided, and he started to push me towards the edge. I counter-steered to stay on the road and it sent him flying. I have a couple paint scratches on my cladding around the front wheel, and on my bumper, and a tiny dent on the quarter. His passenger side is completely toast.

Then I went and picked up a 75 gallon aquarium with stand and a pile of accessories with a bunch of other people in the car. Because I could.

I got an email saying: "Your buddy JaySVX has posted a new message on the forums. Title for the Post: 'I won!'"

Somehow I knew you didn't win a contest, but that somehow you hit somebody and escaped unscathed...

I would guess that the Volvo and it's 5-star crash test safety rating, was still twitching in the ditch from the shock.

Jay, glad you're ok and nobody was hurt.

If you have pics, we demand to see them...

Everyone was fine, no injuries. Both vehicles were drivable, but the entire passenger side of his volvo was trashed from top to bottom. I didn't get any pictures of his car, unfortunately. I had my kids in the car and they're younger, so I was staying put with them.

Not sure what kind of fish I'm going to put in the tank, what ever kids point to and say "that one!" I guess.

I love that line "because I could"...Reminds me of the time several years ago my brother was with us on a trip to Denver. We were in a parking lot and my brother was driving. He saw where we needed to go and took a shortcut, over some parking blocks...my kids asked "Uncle Thom, why did you do that?" His replay-Because we can!!! Classic
