Man, my dually is down, the idi is down and now the tacoma is down. LMAO I GIVE UP!!!!! Sheesh. I have parts ordered for ALL 3 and WAITING. Jobs not finished and angry customers. Jobs backing up. I am here just to vent. Good lord this is such a drag. Will I EVER get through this?!?!?!?!?!?!? LOL I must keep my chin up. At least the little lady still has her job....barely. They cut her hours and dropped her pay yesterday. WHAT A KICK IN THE PANTS FOR 10 YEARS SERVICE! Nobody appreciates loyalty anymore, it is all about that mighty dollar. I hate it when companies sell and the new players have to change what was once a good thing. Lower wages, trucks down and increasing costs. I think I should go on welfare, hell I could be livin the high life again. That is so sad too. HAHAHAHAHAHA
Yeah, it sucks when equipment is down. My truck is on it's last legs. I drove 240 miles yesterday, and it burned 4 quarts of oil... Any more I stop to fill the oil & check the fuel.
I hope your parts come in soon & correct, and wish for no surprises when going back together...
Remember, when the only choice is to laugh or cry, pick laugh!
u think thats bad what get me fired up is i have only put 3500 miles on my idi in about 3 year snice i have owened while dumping in thousened of dallor in that time span
Yeah that is aggravating, 3 trucks down at once, as for your customers do what I do I tell them that I have a $500.00 HURRY UP FEE if I so much as hear the H-word it's $500.00 cash on the barrel head (everytime) good luck Mudguts
I'm almost tied with you, my 86 is down, my mustang is still scattered in the garage and my 93 is wounded. Rotors are so warped they rattle my fillings, leaking injector that makes the truck sound terrible and a failing DMF that makes it sound even worse.
Ah geez guys. Thanks for making me feel better. Joe, that truck of yours is going to be worth every penny to you once u drive it daily. Well part of the good news, parts came in for the tacoma today. So I could at least do "light" work. The parts for the dually will be done and installed tomorrow pm...supposedly. Then I am tackling that IDI of mine. I am working on that one.
Phy- You are very right. Life is too short for frowning and bitching....
Here are the issues..
Tacoma- Calipers NONE ANYWHERE IN TULSA! LOL
Dually- Burned up bearings in rear hug do to overtightening....STUPID!
IDI- Clutch disc and the rear main oil seal again. I am going to have to be schooled on this one. So expect to hear from me when I tear into it. Waiting on the tranny jack I ordered last week.
Snapon, Joe is right. I completed a backyard for a customer and the 8 thousand dollar check they wrote me bounced. The kid decided he didnt want to sell it, or at least that is what he told me, so once I got that check all lined out the truck wasn't for sale anymore.
Mudguts, I LOVE that idea. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA Still got rep to uphold. I just want people happy. It is not their fault I have issues.
Stang, I hope you get your vehicle situation lined out. It is damn tough to take care of everything when it is all happening at once. Good luck!

In the last 8 years, my wife has had 4 companies she worked for bought out by a nationwide chain. First came the changes, then came the 40 hours only, no overtime period, then the if you want to keep your job, you will take a pay cut, then they closed the doors.
Wife went back to school at 45 yrs old and got her BA and we now make less than we did 8 years ago. Everything has gone up except income! We just grin and bear it. When someone asks "hows it going" I say: Goes like this for awhile...then it gets worse LOL, and it does.
Welcome to Life. Pa always told me, There ain't no easy haul lad, an he was right.
My dad was an ***, but he told me "get up in the morning, go to work, pay your bills first, take care of your family, and if you did all that you are a success, after that everything else is bonus".
One of the few smart things he ever told me.
You can only be so far down, then everything is up, just keep putting one foot in front of the other and stick with it cause we're all in it together these days.
Bets of luck to you, don't worry it gets better!
If I had a nickel for every time I had to deal with what your going through right now. I would be able to free the country of debt. I been through a lot of hard times too. Currently the 84 is down now after my older brother was using and broke a couple teeth off the flywheel, the turbo's piping is shot and I cant find an exhaust shop to do it. I almost want to go back to N/A and buy a different turbo kit or take the ATS 088 off my dad's 86 and throw it on and make that one N/A again.
Aint it the truth that things always happen when you least expect it? I got my ranch to run and right before I left for Iraq originally in september, someone vandalized the ranch because i was down in Georgia doing training. I get back, my 5th wheel is tipped over, beer cans everywhere and my fence is mostly missing and most of my things from the place are missing, including my gate to the ranch....we found that though. The guy that did it was our neighboor and he had the gate....(we could tell because I put a nice weld job on it with my Initials). Now that my brother gets home to start working on it before spring folds into summer, the IDI goes down, my gooseneck hitch breaks, and I gotta find a new trailer too now cause the old ones floor broke and the axle is now bent from the hitch breaking.
ANyway, im done with my rant. I hope you get through it all dude. I feel your pain.
