Howie Longs head looks like a cinderblock on end with hair and ears. At least Mike Rowe doesn't take himself, or anything else for that matter seriously...except for the death of Phil Harris...god rest his soul.
I just wonder how those boxed frames will fair after 5 or 6 years of salt spray getting trapped inside them. Yea, salt and moisture, just sitting there day after day, never quite drying out completely, 4 months a year. After that, instead of bending, they just snap apart. You don't have that problem with a channel frame.
On the other hand, you have to be a knuckle dragging, window licking moron to take a stock truck, loaded or unloaded anywhere that would get opposite wheels off the ground.
Oh wait, Howie said he did that.
I like the look of the Chevy, but still not as much as the Ford. Actually all three are really nice looking trucks. What I really don't like about the Chevy is the ground clearance. My wife's 2wd Lexus RX has better ground clearance. A 4x4 Chevy is really close to the ground and you can see the frame. It kinda looks like if it has a body lift.
We would get desperate too if our rival had the best selling truck for 34 years in a row
Agreed!
Observation only:
I was camping at a popular campground in our area this past weekend. 75% of the large, heavy triple slide 5th wheels had tow vehicles that were Ford Superduty of various years. Dodge had the rest.
The ultra light 5th wheels we saw had a few chevy half tons as tow vehicles.
But once again they leave out a key component in the towing wars, the 450. I would want to see how the 4.30 gears fair on the passing test with the semi. Sure Chevy/Dodge don't offer those gears, which is something to point out as a competitve advantage in Fords favor (if it actually helps in the test).
As I mentioned before on those kind of tests they should NOT keep the field equal. They need to take each btrands most capable truck and test those against each other for a true total capability test.
Funny how if Howie Longs hosts a video, then Chevy wins. When Mike Rowe hosts it Ford wins. But poor Dodge, with those kind of numbers looks like its going to take Superman to produce a winning video!

Well said.. RIP Phil.
I personally think they should put Howie Long and Mike Rowe in a cage match and let them
Battle it out.. That'll prove which trucks better hahahahah I put my money with mike rowe and the superduty
