AOD question
That truck probably has an E4OD or a 4R70W. The AOD doesn't have an OD light; it has an OD and a D position in the shift indicator below the speedo. The E4OD & 4R70W have a button on the end of the shift lever and there's a little "O/D OFF" light on the shift **** facing the driver that comes on when it's disabled.

AOD question
On the end of your shift lever you will see the button, if you push it IN your OD light should come on reading OD OFF, this will keep your trans from shifting into OD, or can be selected at any time to slow your truck down.
