New? 9" rear
I just bought a donor 78 Merc "Grand Marquis" with a 460(running) and I hope a 9" rear. I looked through the rear end forum and couldn't find an answer to this. Can anyone tell me what rear is in this clunker by this plate??
WDC-EL 7KC 2.50-9 040-A
Also if I end up using this differential and I get a housing from a 57 to 72 will I be able to use the axles from the same setup or will have to get custom axles made?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
