I have a 08 ford SD, with the 6.4lt motor, truck is a crew cab with the 8ft bed. I am buying a 28ft trailer this weekend coming up and I need a 10,000 lb hitch adjustable one. any good ones I should look for, and how are the aluminium ones.
and I also just noticed that my truck does not have the over load springs on it like my 02 SD does. will this be a problem for me, will truck be squating to much with this trailer. 28ft haulmark edge. I will be towing it back empty but only thing I will be using it for is to haul quads. thanks for your time with this.
ok how about a hitch, ball height on trailer is 20inches. what size and kind of reciver should I get for my hitch. and yes this was a tag trailer.
ok so what if I just buy the weight distribution hitch, what is a good kind to get or are they all the same. what is better bars or chains.
Lots to choose from. Reese is very popular and easy to operate. Considering that you will drop a couple of inches from the wieght of the trailer tongue, only a 2-4" drop I would think. There are several that are adjustable.
