I am not anywhere I can look see and count myself and I do not remember off the top of my head ...
How many head bolts does the 7.3 have, '94 Turbo IDI to be exact. The Ford dealer is saying 34 total and I believe it is only 18 total. They are special order and non returnable.
Also what would be y'all's opinion of head bolt choice ... No studs, 7.3 studs are like $700 last time I looked and are not even designed for the motor and have to be modified.
The choices are Ford bolts or Victor Reinz bolts.
Ford bolts are $3.07 each ($3.07 x 18 = $55.26 per set of 18)
Victor-Reinz are $68.99 for 9. ($7.665 each)(68.99 x 2 = $137.98 per set of 18)
I don't mind spending the bux on the Victor-Reinz ""IF"" they are better bolts, I can find no specs on them.
Thanks y'all
-Enjoy

Oh, how I hate not being able to edit my posts ... I also just noticed there are NO buttons at all, no ability to "Quote", "Reps" or anything except a Facebook like button.
NumberDummy,
In your first post you say "FYI: No FoMoCo Dealer in New England has any."
In your second post you say "And, if you are in a hurry, a dealer in ME has 40 see above."

Uh, there were 54 sources listed on 2 pages on the parts locator. I didn't notice page 2 until after I typed that 'no one' jazz.
Then, when I did see page 2, and because I can edit my posts I corrected it.
So, waltz on back to post #5 and take a look-see.
More editing...Ed is back at work. I prolly edit more of my posts than the combined membership of FTE does.
I read every one a them after I post them...to correct spelling errors, other jazz caused by ham hands on laptop. Having 5 Basset Hounds layin' around this menagerie is another cause, especially if I'm eating something.

Reason: ROFL!!! Since when do I need a reason?
I typically edit most of my posts to add or change something, I have always been able to until recently, it's annoying not being able to Edit or Quote!
I wonder if something got messed up in your settings when your wife was trying to PM with other members? It was quite hectic in here for a little while, maybe accidentally clicked a button or something?
