Block to all spring
I installed a 4 inch syjacker lift kit onto my highboy and i love the lift and the ride of it now. I was just wondering what all is needed to delete the rear blocks out of these trucks. I heard that a shackle flip will do the job but does anybody have more information on this and how to do it.

Keep in mind a shackle flip only yields half its length (in actual lift) that the spring eye is lowered, so you're looking at about 2.5" in net lift, not quite enough to make up for your 4" block, but a shackle flip with an add-a-leaf should easily net you 4" of lift, allowing you to eliminate the lift block, do a search in the 73-79 forums and there's tons of info.
