Yeah, it's a great site. Check out the grabber blue '70 F-100 with 368 miles in the gallery section. There are some great shots of this beauty that can be helpful if you are bringing your truck back to stock and need some reference.

Much of the info, VIN & Warranty Plate decoding, part numbers, illustrations were taken directly from the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog.

You can order the same catalog Fordification is using from hipoparts.com for 22 bucks.

btw: There was no such color as Grabber Blue available for F100/350's until 1972. The Grabber colors were originally introduced in 1971...on Maverick Grabbers.

I did some checking awhile go on that and your right no grabber blue shows up on the 1970 charts. But there is a blue almost identical to it that was offered in '70 (see pictures I mentioned above), was this older color the same as grabber blue but just with a different name? It sure looks the same.

I don't have a paint chart, but I do have the FoMoCo paint part numbers.

M1J-3657 = 1 qt. can of Grabber Blue / I don't see any other shade of blue listed with this same part number in car/parts catalogs.

Grabber Blue Warranty Plate COLOR code ~ Passenger Cars: 3F / F100/350's: 4

And, btw inre to this so called 1970 F100 'Grabber Blue' Pickup with 368 miles on the clock: Anyone that goes by this truck to see what was stock and/or original is living in a dream world.

You wanna see what these trucks looked like when they were original...find one that IS original, because there was no such thing as Grabber Blue available on F100/350's until 1972.

And, anyone that believes the miles on the odometer on trucks of this vintage is also living in a dream world, cuz the odometer reads to 99,999.9 then returns to ZERO.

For decades, shady car dealers rolled back the mileage on odometers, as did some of the owners. So...who really knows how many miles the pile of miseries has?

Thanks for the reference; I hadn't run across these folks before but I'm pretty sure I need to get some of those chrome wire ties......
