I bought this Bronco with the intent of turning it into a dirt cheap budget wheeler. I am not straying too far from that goal, but it needs some improvements. This will never be a nice shiny truck, but since I don't have a trailer that means it will get road driven. Knowing that it will see road use means it has to be in top notch mechanical condition for me. I seem to recall someone, or something about not needing rear brakes...
My planned list of upgrades at this time are:
Replace the worn out 400/auto with a rebuilt 300/NP435
Twin stick the NP205
Disc brake/rebuild/4.56 regear/detroit the 9"
Rebuild/4.56 regear/full spool the D44
All new brake lines with line locks front and rear
Convert AC compressor to an onboard air setup
Rebuild my Warn 8200
Paint and rust repair, I have good replacement doors, rest of cab is good
Trailworthy Fab beadlocks and 37" Good Years
I already have the gears, Detroit, and the 300/NP435
Don't worry, Kris is just a harmless little teddy bear, I go where ever I want.
Oh, I forgot that since you picked one color, that forbids anyone else in the world from using it... I have deep ties to Olive Drab, having driven many HMMWVs and M113s around the middle east while being shot at. That was a long time ago, before the fancy Tan vehicles, we have now.

Keep the color. If it makes you feel better come down south and Ill shoot at you also. Im probably about as accurate as a ******* with a sand filled AK so you might be in luck.
You gonna hack your fenders like that? any lift goin on it? i guess those are Humvee tires you goin with?
Hack my fenders like what? If I hacked them any more, I might as well just take them off...
Edit: Oh, I see what you might have been thinking. That OD Bronco is mine, just a 5 minute photshop paint job. That is how much I cut my fenders, and no, I will not be lifting it. A low CG is a good thing.
