please help, oil leaking on dr side exhaust

1985 f150 4x4 351w ho oil is leaking out onto the drivers side exhaust manifold cant seem to locate the source, and the oil pressure is extremely high?? i had a valve cover gasket that started leaking and fixed that shortly after that it has started the other leak i cant locate. would it have something to do with too high oil pressure. does anybody know why it might be so high. thanks a bunch

still might be the valve cover. what part of the exhaust manifold has the oil on it, front , middle or back?

is the oil sending unit tight on the block. what is your oil pressure at?

its leaking where i see it the most is right where the end of the exhaust manifold is connected to the exhaust pipe, and the oil pressure is prob about 80 or 90 % maxed over i guess it would be on the l where it says NORMAL

If you are still going by the stock gauge, invest in a mechanical gauge. Looking @ the year though, I unsure of the accuracy of the stock gauge. I know on the '87 to 96's, the stock gauge registers @ 7 psi, and that can be anywhere between "NORMAL" for the needle. Kemical, you may have to correct me for years prior to '87.

If this truck has a PCV, I'm sure it would, I would check the operation of it. Your leak may just be the engine "blowing" pressure thru the weakest parts it can relieve itself. Pull the PCV valve and shake it. If it doesn't rattle or is full of sludge and gunk, replace it. If this is the case, replace it with a Motorcraft PCV valve. Spend the few extra bucks for the OEM and not the "It looks and rattles the same" type. $8 bucks is well spent!

Hope this helps.
