i did my clutch about 18k miles ago and its already starting to slip again. i never slip my clutch, and ive always known how to drive a manual so its not like i learned on it. i think i ruined it by pulling my boat around. another possibility is that the pressure plate could be bad. the clutches on these 150s are weak links. is there a more aggressive clutch kit out there for these trucks? my local guy has the kit for like 90 bucks but i don't want to run into the same problem.
that centerforce clutch seems awesome. pricey but i bet it wont burn up like the one i have now. what size flywheel do these trucks have? the 150s have a 10 inch right? That centerforce clutch says its 11 inch, but it appears to fit my truck.

They have more CF brand clutches somewhere....I foundem once....And yeah, the 150's have 10", for the 300 that is, the v-8's use the 11" cluch....Also, that centerforce clutch doesn't come with a throwout bearing....
Lastly, it says its a 10 spline, CHECK YOUR SPLINES BEFORE ordering.....Just a FYI there....

P.S-I'm contemplating a Hurst shifter,and a Centerforce Clutch....
ford really let down the 300 in the 150s. they are geared like a lincoln towncar and have the smallest flywheels. isnt the 300 supposed to be a pulling motor?!
