Explorer IRS fitment

How well does anyone think the IRS would fit under a Crown Victoria? Would it need to have holes drilled through the frame like the Explorers? I was asking because a guy on CVN put a Jag IRS under one. Either one would seem to be a better choice than the Cobra IRS.

Why would anyone even do that? I was on CVN, owned numerous P71's and spent 30 years in a very large city's fleet maintenance division and that sounds like a total waste of time and money.

He bagged it and it gave a better ride. Now it tucks the rear wheels and he can drop it all the way down. I was just curious about the Explorer IRS.
