Probably not; i took some home from a late 70s 400 but couldn't 'em to fit in my 1981 400.
I don't remember exactly but I remember thinking I might get at least the pass side up into
there if I were to lift up the engine but I didn't want to go through that work, I had only
recently gotten the damn thing installed....
I don't remember, it was a few years ago. I for some reason remember clearance between
the block and frame not being quite enough to fit the thing up to the exhaust ports, nor could
I drop it down from the top.
in 80 the oil pan is toward the back to clear the frame crossover, the earlier headers try to exit right there, so they won't fit. 80 and up headers are hard to find, the 400 was no longer avaible sometime in 82, or 83
