make sure you get the accelerator pump to work before you turn it off anywhere other than your house because it likely won't start w/o prime.
some of those paper gaskets are terrible that are old and impossible to get off.
Rebuilding a Holley is pretty simple. The only trick is getting the metering plate off since the screws aren't your typical phillips or flathead. Kind of an hourglass shape (can't remember the name). If you have the right width flathead, it'll fit (I bought a cheapie and ground the sides down until it fit).
Of course, you may already have the correct bit in your arsenal.
The other difficult part is installing the new nylon bushings around the throttle shafts. You need to remove the throttle plates to do it, which can be a pain to get back on straight (and they won't close properly if you don't). Mark where the screws are centered super well before loosening them.
The rest of the rebuild is VERY straight forward and easy to do. Disassemble as per instructions. Clean. Install new gaskets. Reassemble. I like to get a can or two of compressed carb cleaner to help with the job.
