350 6.0 information
So it's coming close to the time for me to trade up. My 150 isn't meeting my needs much anymore and I need something a little more capable. I do construction and pull a trailer everyday of the week. I need a bigger one and my current truck can't pull it with out crying. I don't want to run into this problem anymore. I have a few questions that I'm hoping you all can clear up. Straight from the horses mouths.
1. What is the real deal with the 6.0's. I know it has something to do with head studs and the EGR and it causes problems. What is the issue and how is it fixed?
B. What are you all getting for mileage. I'm not stupid, it's a truck and I'm not getting it for it's small carbon foot print. But if I'm driving it everyday it's something that I would like to know. Can you tune for better mileage like the DPF delete and tune in the 6.4's?
4. I would like to know some of the goods and bads of owner ship. If you have one please tell me what you like and don't like. I'm choosing the 6.0 generation because they are easier to find and cheaper for the mileage (at least where I live.) And they sound mean!
