i need help my truck sat for about a month and the other day i went to start it and it turns over but it wont fire and i have no idea why. it feels like it wants to start but just cant.Help pleaase

 

Make sure you are getting fuel to the injectors. If you are you might wanna remove the fuel filter and fill with fresh diesel. Make sure your air filter element is not clogged up, its worth a check. Most likely a fuel issue though

 

Take a test light and clip the alligator clip end to the negative battery terminal.
Then probe the FSS on the Injection Pump to be sure there is power there when the ingition key is turned on.
The Fuel Shutoff Solenoid is on the drivers side of the IP. Of the 2 electric connections, I think it's the one toward the front of the truck.

 

Test your glow plugs if the fss works
