Buying wheels need advice
My son has a 2005 escape with 15" steel wheels he found some one selling alloys off a 2003.
Will there be a problem, I thought there was a model change in 05?

There were very slight changes (taillights, rear disc brakes) in the 04-05 models but the wheel size/offset is the same.
The alloys should be a 16x6.5 or 7 (can't remember right off) wit ha 235-70-16 tire. I know you could upgrade the steel wheels for alloy at the dealer which should mean the offset would be correct and you should not have any rubbing. Now if the overall height is different the speedo will be off. You can use this site to check the amount it is off:
