I've got a 30' Zinger (by Crossroads) and am waiting for my F-250 PSD to be delivered. I can't wait to see how the truck pulls the camper. I'm using a Nissan Armada to tow now. It's rated at 9000 lbs and the trailer is 7500, so it struggles in the mountains.
Thanks.

It's a 2012 Keystone Outback 312Bh. On the way home it was pretty good. Taking off from lights harder then I thought it would be, but once I figured out that I can't baby it and just hit the gas peddle, it was good. After I got up to about 20-25 mph you couldn't tell it was behind you, and it stops good.

Last night I set up the hitch and connected up the trailer. We drove for about an hour to see how it feels before we leave on a 500+ mile trip the end of the month.

No problems with the hitch setup and the truck only settled an inch in back with the WD hitch.

Takeoff and breaking were smooth as butter.

On the interstate, it seemed to want to track to the left. Might have been ruts on the road as it's a heavily used portion of I-95. Also was bouncier than I expected with the hitch weight.

While not a good test, I got about 11 mph compared to the 16 I'm getting around town. Not great but better than the 7 mph I got with the Armada.
