Not sure who you are referring to, but the title of this thread is "2011 Super - Duty Letdown", which appears to be referring to multiple things that the OP was unhappy about with the 2011 model, not specifically about how to drive up a hill in the snow.
Agreed. but you first have to know how to drive properly before you complain about a option not working correctly..

Man, you are so right. I've only been driving on ice, snow, and mountainous terrain for let's see now, 45 years. Why don't you go ahead and tell us all how to drive a truck. I'm sure we would all enjoy being enlightened by an expert such as yourself.
The point was that Ford discontinued offering LIMITED SLIP and decided to be a sheep and follow the competitors that went with the electronic locking differential. I've had the limited slip in all of my previous trucks and the electronic locker is no match for highway driving which is where 99%+ of these trucks are driven. When yours craps out remember this forum.
I guess everyone will have something they can find wrong with the truck. You can't build a perfect truck for everyone or else they would all be custom and cost a lot more then they already do.
For me the one thing I don't like about it is that you can't get the NAV system with the XLT package, you must upgrade to the Lariat. And it would have cost a extra $7000 and that was just too much more for me. I didn't need the other stuff that came with the Lariat but kinda wanted the touch screen NAV. Other then that I have not found anything I don't like about, at least not yet. And as for cup holders, I have a total 8. And also got 5 12 volt power points and 1 A/C, can't beat that for the kids in the back.
