I'm going to try to make this short. I changed my dash pad out yesterday. As you know I had to take the gauge cluster out. Everything went good and smooth. Put it all back together and my gauge lights dont work. My light switch and windshield light works and my heater control lights work. Its just my gauge cluster lights dont. They use to because I worked my butt off to get them to. What should I check now because I hate to pull the cluster back out but I will if I have to. Thanks Scott
Make sure that the instrument cluster connector is properly seated, make sure the bulb carriages were not dislodged, and make sure that the mounting surface into which the instrument cluster snaps is not damaged.
I pulled it back out and 2 of the bulb carriages was not seated right. I but them back and one dont want to stay down in to connect the tiny copper lines down. The ones that run in the little sheet on the back. Is the any trick I can do or am I looking at getting a whole new backing plate for it. It was really soft around where then the light goes in. I cant believe I done that, so I guess none of my lights will work now.
