flathead sell pricing advice

I've decided to sell my flatehead. I just need some advice on how much to ask. Here is a description:

-1952 flathead
-motor ran good when it was pulled but bearings must be bad because it had almost no oil pressure
-has new oil pump and starter
-comes with 2 holley 1 barrel carbs
-comes with oil bath air filter
-still has 4 speed trans

1951 flathead block
-just bare block
-has been machined(cylinders and decked)
-i have original crank to go with it and differnt odds and ends engine parts
-has crack from one of the cylinders to the exhaust port

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It`s hard to say as a lot depends on your location.
I sold my 53 flattie V8 in decent running order for $300, a bit on the cheap side I know.

Where are you (should be in your profile or signature so we can see)

I know there is someone potentially looking for a good flatty...

I'm in Shreveport, La.

Did you sell the flathead with the trans? I was hoping to get around $1,500 for everything but didn't know if that was a fair price.

Personal opinion:

1st engine -- not going to get much in that condition, maybe $150

2nd engine -- shame about the crack, but unless you repair and sleeve it, you're likely not going to get much more for it. That isn't a cheap crack to fix, and involves some risk that it can even be repaired. But with the money from the other one, you could get most of the way to repairing it, and have a good motor

Trans -- likely worth more in parts if the gears are in good shape (and you can ship parts easier than a trans) assuming it's a crashbox 4-sp
