I need to replace the throw out bearing on my 1985 F-150 with a 300 six. I am looking for recommendations for a clutch. I would like something a little better than the stock setup.

You could possibly have couple options. Your vehicle may have come with either a 10" or an 11" clutch. If it came with the 10" you can upgrade to the 11" and still use your flywheel. This should provide more torque capacity. Luk also has a 11" heavy duty version (Pro Gold) which will carry about a 25% increase in torque capacity over the stock 11". My 84 4wd came with a 10 inch clutch, I upgraded to an 11 inch heavy duty clutch. It costed more but it was well worth the extra money spent. Larger heavier clutches last longer and have more holding power, which is essential for heavy pulling and off roading.
