I have just left the shop and it was snowing!!! The middle of April and it is snowing. Could you send some of that global warming my way. It was damn cold with the wet and the wind blowing like crazy. I am grateful that I had a nice warm shop to work in for just about the whole day.

I'll trade 20 degrees for the winds we've been having. Par for this time of year, but it just grates on you. Today it's pretty calm, 75, but they are predicting 25+ mph winds all next week.

It's been abnormally cold and windy at my house this spring (if you can call it that). No snow here, as temps have been in the 40's-50's, but heavy snow in the mountains. I-90 Snoqualmie Pass has been closed several times this month from avalanches. The state DOT extended the cutoff for studded snow tires 3 weeks. The daffodils, which normally bloom in February, are just coming on now. It rained hard overnight, and is cold and windy again today. 25 mph, gusts well over 30-35, temp 55F, feels like 30F. Bring on the global warming.

Right now it is 33 degrees with a 26mph wind which gives a wind chill of 27. It is wet and cold and windy. Did I mention miserable. i tell you if my health was a little more stable I pull up stakes and head for Houston. I am so tired of cold, wet and windy.

What's rain? It hasn't rained here since January - I think the whole western part of the state is on fire. Forecast was for 97 today - I think we came in a little short of that - thank goodness. No complaining about the rain up there in Seattle/Oregon - You guys are taking all of our wet stuff.

Yeah, we're having a dry spell (read that as drought) and warm too. Daytime temps in the 70's to 80's. Fires all over the place but thankfully, none close to me. Too many idiots throwing cigarette butts out the windows.

Yeah, I really shouldn't complain....just getting cabin fever I guess. Seems like winter will never end! I feel badly for all of those folks who have lost so much to fires and tornado's. We get the forest fires here almost every summer, so I can relate to that.

And here I assumed it was Spring.

Another inch of snow last night. At least I got one truck moved yesterday to gain access to my cab.

My apologies for thinking Spring would be here this year.

My yard is a near frozen lake, and too wet to move anything.

But those down South, WOW!, keep praying for them.

yesterday (last day of April) was sunny and 70. April was the wettest Central PA had in years. 18 inches of rain! And it has been cold and miserable.

I took on a job of mowing someone's family plot in a large cemetery on top of a big hill overlooking town and our river and mountains, beautiful! Great day to get the truck out to take the lawnmower up to do the job. Had to pass on entering a small car show at the hospital's relay for life, cause I had work to do in the yard since it was nice. Went ot Lowe's to buy a new cordless weed-eater and blower, good deal and light weight with 2 batteries....

A Good Day! Good comments about my truck.

It's a balmy 23F (now 20) with the windchill today. Cleaning up the yard anyway, though. Sounds like you had a much better day!
