Hey guys, just thought I would post a pic of my 1976 F-150. My dad bought this truck new and it has been in the family ever sense. Still runs good for being as old as it is and is compleatly stock. It has a 390 so with the price of gas these days it rarely leaves the driveway. It has 180,000 mi, 4sp manual transmission and new tires and wheels (not crazy about the black wheels but it's all I could get at the time)
I have been thinking of selling it, but just can't get myself to pull the trigger on that, I love this old truck and have had alot of good times with it!!
Why would you sell it?
It's far more reliable, sturdy, better looking, worth more in 30 years, more tough, more rare, more sexy, more powerful than anything built today, that '76 is way better than that piece of plastic you have next to it. Sorry, it's the truth, accept it.
Also, the family history is worth more than any amount of money on this Earth, I think...
Very nice truck and I like the story behind it. Its easy to get tired of things when they dont get used and just set in the way. Give it a new lease on life, go to the cruise in's around your place and the regular show's. That way you get out to have fun and the truck gets used for something. There's not alot of people that has a story like that. Scott
Try driving the truck once a week for something you'd normally use the new truck for. That way you get to get some use out of it without spending too much on fuel.

OK, don't beat around the bush, tell me exactly how you feel.
I agree guys, it would be a big mistake to sell that old truck, and I know I would regret it 100%. It'd a good bet it will stay right were it's at. We have hauled alot of deer and elk out of the Oregon woods with that truck, alot more than I will with that piece of plastic next to it LOL.
BTW, I kinda like the black wheels. They look good with that paint scheme. Also like the gun racks. I have two sets like those, one from my grandfather's trucks and one set I bought 25 years ago. I intend on putting one in my '76.
X10 on keeping it made the mistake years back an listened to family an my grandpa's car got sold then crushed wish a million times I still had it sitting here even if it didn't run. The memories are more important than the money guess thats one reason why I have this truck it was like his. Keep the truck an use it in parades, car shows, Ford events an so on an something to pass down to your kids later on a family heirloom.
