I found out that the hose comes out of the vacuum tap at the upper manifold of my 2.9L EFI engine. But still I do not know where the other end of the hose belongs to...
What else could be the problem, that my Ranger does not run in the idle after the winter breake?
Still I did not find a way to put a picture of the hose here in the forum.
There are a number of things that use vacuum from the engine, and some could be sensors. If at first you can not find where that vacuum hose goes to, try plugging it. At least that should let the engine run better. Do you know the general vicinity of the loose end of the hose when you first found it?
If you can't post pictures in this forum, can you post your picture some place else, and then provide a link to it here?
