The first FTE 7.3PSD PMS webcast!
That might be worth the price of admission!
Nick
The wrenching day we had when we did the 99 HPOP/Fuel bowl reaseal started at 10:00 am, and ended at 6:00 am the next day, wonder what admission to a 20 hour show is, lol
Nice list of things youve got to do, that will be a great opportunity for you to get a good look at your up-pipes and see if you have any leakes
Will be looking at the for sure, as well as everything else, going to do the foild delete and a paint job while we are at it. Also a total detail job of the engine now that the CCV is going on, its a dirty beast right now.
If you do the 6637 cold air box it gives under the hood of your truck a much cleaner look. I just installed mine yesterday and it looks a lot better, that I dont have my 6637 filter just hanging out by itself
I think this forum should get a portable "WebCam" to keep an eye on you guys! We could send it around to the all around the forum members that have a big project, so all of us can be remote supervisors!
What'ca think?
Nick
i was thinkg about starting up a new reality show with "snap-on girls" working on 7.3's discussing all the thing we do to our trucks. i know it would only target a small fan base but it sure would make me happy

sorry for the jack
drink beer and be happy
You may be on to something, if I get the snapon girls over to my place, i would guess i could get 40 or 50 guys to show up for a wrenching party, if only i could keep them focussed on the truck.........
have the dreaded yellow tape Riffraff box in hand, let the carnage begin. Hopefully it will be a nice weekend, spent the last one fencing, i need wrenches to cure the PMS.
If you strip those square fittings, clamp on it with a vise grip with all your might and tap with a hammer with light pressure in the counter-clockwise direction.
So, all the parts are here, just need some red locktite, wire wheel, and paint for IC tubes. had a small wrench party this past weekend and now have everyone elses rigs running good, and they are up for mine now. Looks like it starts Friday morning, weather permitting(its snowing sideways at the moment).
So, need lots of beer, and 50 lbs of food, and it starts, getting excited to move this truck forward.
Sounds like you have things lined up! Personally I would put the food budget to your chip or live tuning. 50 lbs of food.... I wish I was closer and could help you wrench and enjoy the food and company.
I just wish I had friends that liked to help me. My buddy's truck showed up in my driveway this weekend after a no start. No help either except from FTE. sometimes I have to get my wife to hold something or get her small hand in a spot that I can't.
grant, you need to take the family on a trip to Yellow Stone National park and swing up this way sometime, a Montana get together is like a 20 year reunion everytime. Seems as though we are all far from friends and family, even if they are within the state, so its always a celebration.
Yesterday was a "little" get together, did cps on my rig real quick, shocks on the front of late 99 and a 05 chebby, radio in an S10, ICP in the late 99, had a feed, then popped some horse shoes and trimmed feet on 4 steeds. All while passin an 8 month old boy back and forth, entertaining my 12 yo daughter, training 2 border collies, and other wise just enjoying one of the few decent days we have had this year.
It is an interesting little gang I run with here locally, met them all at a little local watering hole way back when I was going through my divorce 8 years ago for the most part. Flooring guys, general handymen, fencing guys, framers, etc. Between us, there is nothing we can't accomplish collectively, so when someone yells help, its like a swat smack down, and its fixed. A few that have joined the "gang" are also senior professionals I work with, no one judges, just all work together, very similar to FTE here, think that is why this place just keeps me glued as much as the the tech advise.
You ever get headed west, just give me a call, I will have the Belgrade "irregulars" ready to give your rig a full PM and celebrate the visit.
