Another recon product failure

I just noticed that another recon part on my truck failed yesterday, I bought the scanning tailgate light bar about a year ago and noticed that it quit working, the third recon product to fail after less than a year of use. I am not even going to waste my time calling them after that last ordeal, just be warned about their products. That will make over $300.00 that I am out.

Had I realized the problems they have had, I would not have bought my lights. Hope they don't fail too.

Thank you BAYOU, I've scratched them from my list.
TOO bad the other thread was closed.
Hope we can still warn each other about bad elements.

No spanking here. Just need to keep things in line with the guidelines. Really simple to do.

See above. As long as the conduct doesn't get out of hand, it's all good. If it does............POOF, and it's gone.

I said it in the other thread and I'll say it here. I understand people being frustrated with poor performing products and poor customer service. I dislike it as much as anyone. But there is a line in the sand and when it gets crossed, moderators have a job to do. Keep everything in line and the bashing to a minimum and the thread stays here and intact.

I bought some replacement headlights from them that were supposed to be brighter than stock. I put them in, and they were worse than the stock ones in there. I took them back out and no help from them. I feel your pain.

They seem to have the best looking products on the market (IMO) and one of the best brands. Too bad their product can't match the hype. I've taken their gear off my mod list as well.

Lens popped off one of my fender lights, and another fender light would not stay on the truck. I am not a fan of Recon either.

I've had their line of fire tailgate light bar for 4 years with no problems, and have another 2 yr old "white lightning" bar off the truck I just sold. No problems from either. I had their cab light lenses, and never had a problem with them either. guess I've gotten lucky.

I bought the illuminated fender emblems and they failed with no replacement available, also the illuminated door sills and the fitment was so poor I sent them back, ( never got my money back on either of those) the scanning tailgate brake/blinker light and that just failed, and I also have the big rig side lights for above the running board and that is the only thing still working, but a failure is expected. To those who have had good luck, more power to you, I am just letting people know as I would like to have known before I spent the bucks.

Chinese made garbage... Only recon item on my truck is an LED 3rd brake light. A week after installing it, one row of LED's for the cargo lights quit working. I was able to locate a replacement LED and solder it in, but it isn't quite the same color. If I had it to do over, I'd have saved my money. Their stuff looks cool, but it's overpriced and poor quality.
