I want to install an indicator (an original that I pulled from the yard) into the dash. As far as I can tell, my truck didn't come with one. Can someone tell me where to wire it? It is a 2 wire, one being a ground. I have a bit of a rat's nest behind the dash (working on sorting it out), and some of the wires have paint hiding the color... Currently, pulling the EF switch intermittently lights the turn signal indicators (which are LED's thanks to the PO).
Thanks, Garbz... I'll probably check the yard... I do already have the switch (which was already installed) and the light/bezel... so do I really need an entire harness?
Either you use the ford harness or cut and splice it in line. I prefer the ford harness as it has the correct ends for the bullet early connectors or the square plastic for later.
You all ready have hazards on your aftermarket harness. Look to the directions in the kit. They will blink your current TS lamps in the bezel.
You can get one from Ford. I bought mine at the local Ford Dealership. You can get them from Dennis Carpenter, or LMC also, but I think they are more expensive from them.
