I have a used 2003 F250 SD that has the electric door locks but does not have the remote lock/unlock with a key FOB feature (also no door handle keypad). I tested it by trying to get it to go into programming mode (which it would not) and then contacted Ford customer service who confirmed my truck was not equipped with that option. Does anyone know if the under dash wiring harness is standard and has the connectors for the required module(s) and would it be a plug-n-play type install? Which module(s) would I need if so (GEM and/or VSM or other)?

You may already know this, but I think you could get an aftermarket keyless entry or alarm/keyless entry installed much cheaper than you could find factory components.
I have aftermarket remote start on my 03 SD that has a remote lock feature. Really handy. Might be cheaper than buying factory stuff plus you get remote start.
i think you would need to buy a gem to get the keyfob to work. i installed an aftermarket keyless entry kit for $50 in my truck. made by crimestoppers.
You can get the door keypad added ot the dealer pretty reasonably, they sent me a flyer in the mail last year I think it was for less than a hundred bucks, but the alarm is extra.
I was thinking of acquiring the module from a parts recycler/junk yard. A GEM would be cheap and I have two FOBs that I can use. But a new aftermarket remote start/door lock-unlock/alarm sounds good too.
the wiring is not there for the door number pad. i know this because i wanted to install one on my truck which has remote unlock and factory remote start. i went to i wrecker and pulled the pad out then i was going to install it and found that the harness is not run from the vehicle security system to the door? glad i found that out before cutting the hole in the door for the number pad!!!!! Buy the way it is still hanging on the wall of my garage!!
