vin ???

Did the vin decoder and got the obvious but am still stumped by the RDF in the vin number that is as follows F26SRDF1084.
The known is that it is a 250 4x4 with a four barrel 400
What do you guys have to say?

S = 400ci V8 with a 2-Barrel
R = San Jose Assembly Plant
Your truck was built in September 1978 as a '79 model year.

S=400 cu in 2bbl V8 engine
R=San Jose Assy Plant
DF1084=1979 model year sequential serial number (1979 goes from DC0001-FK9000)
