Vacuum Source for EVR Valve

I have a 1988 F150 with a 302 and auto transmission. I can't seem to find the vacuum source for the EVR Valve. All of my lines are bundled and the neither of the two reference books that I have show the location of the source for the EVR valve. I have no vacuum at the valve.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Owen

I believe it should be fed from a vac canister/reservoir, which in turn feeds off the vacuum tree off the manifold. My 91 F150 has 2 vac reservoirs, but yours may only have 1. It looks like a small coffee can. Remove it and inspect- they're notorious for rusting out on the bottom.

Motorcraft Service Select Quick Guides, scroll down the VECI labels. Then use the pull down menus to select year/model/engine.There may be several different Calibration codes to choose from after that.

If the VECI label is not on your truck, select one or two and compare. For the most part there is no significant change in this time period from one to the other.

And DB is correct. There is a vacuum reservoir (VRES) between manifold vacuum and the EVR (as well as the TAB/TAD solenoids).
