Roaring Sound
There is a loud roaring sound coming from the air intake from my 2004 F250. I thought it was the air flow sensor, but after changing it the noise is better but when the RPMs drop down to below 1000 and you hit the throttle it will start to roar. It will go away when you get the RPMs over 2500. I took the Idle Air Control Valve off and clean it before I changed the MAF and it did seem to help but now it is back and sometimes louder than other. Does anyone know what the problem may be before I spend anymore money on this? I am thinking the IAC valve may be out but not sure.
