Welcome aboard!

Whoa... is it my imagination or does the 73 in the top pic have its tire stuffed up and back into the fender? What's the story on it?

Cool 77... perhaps a 4-inch lift on 33s?

Ive seen that kinda rear wheel well damage before. That's what happens when your wheel comes off while your underway.

Oh.. I meant to say it was the front wheel that looked wonky.

I assumed the rear fender arch was due to rust.

Thanks! The 73 was the result of drinking and driving. The beam looked pretty gnarly. I really tore that truck up. It is in the waiting room right now for transmission surgery. It has a 302/C4, Summit headers into Flowmaster 40 Series and a 9" with 28 spline axles poking out of a Trac-Lock.

The 77 was made in 11/76. VIN F26HLO*****. Has 351m, NP435, NP205, low pinion D44, etc... And the tires were very worn 35s. I replaced them with another set of 35s on steel wheels.

Not to get all preachy but I hope no one was hurt and you learned a lesson. The cheif of police in Gulfport MS just buried his young daughter Saturday, killed by a drunk driver when she was leaving a bridal shop, she was soon to be married. Her 4 yr old boy put a homemade card in the casket "hope you get better mommy, I miss you".The Gfpt police are coming down like a ton of bricks on drunks behind the wheel I hear. Anyhoo, I like your trucks, particularly the '77

The wreck with the 73 was during a very painful/depressing part of my life. Booze and vehicles don't mix. I wrecked that truck twice because of booze. The third time I got caught and went to jail. That was enough for me.

That is so sad to hear about the chief's daughter, yet it happens all too often.

I don't think the 77 has a lift. It's a "highboy" on 35s. If it has a lift it can't be more than 2"

Like I said before: "The 77 was made in 11/76. VIN F26HLO*****. Has 351m, NP435, ***(divorced)*** NP205, low pinion D44, etc... ***(narrow frame)***."
I can't really prove its a pre Y20,000 more than that

Both trucks need some work though. Mostly body work (cab corners, floor pans, etc...)

But thank you very much for the compliments.

Apart from resto work, what are your plans for the 77?

No major plans really. I would like locking or limited slip diffs though.
