in the case of a " FRIEND " i was watching wire his rod .... a person who has been building cars for awhile ...... fuse why do i need one , it's got an on and off switch ...................... i'm a wiring techtard but .....................
I solved that years ago, I simply made a tank out of 4in pvc about a foot long, tapped
for a barbed fitting, and made a check valve also out of pvc, rubber diaphram spring,
thats it. You can locate this tank anywhere you want, then the wiper motor is now
feed by the tank. I have a 58 Mercury & 59 Lincoln and both have a vac. tank plumbed
in this maner and both have vac wiper motors no problems. The check valve on these
cars almost look like a PVC valve a disk and spring.
