2000 Expedition Problem

I have a similar problem that has been posted. I have a vacum leak that causes the air only to come from defroster. Under the hood I have a vacum line that is pulling air but has no source to go to. I don't look cut looks pulled apart but can't locate the other end. 5.4l v8 4x4 The hose is on the back wall next to the selenoid. It is a tee one hose leads to the back of the battery and little compartment The other leads to the other side of the motor connected. But the third has no destination. Anyone have any Ideas? I had it plugged but I think that is why I don't have panel air from vents.

Not sure on my Expy, I'd have to look but on my SD behind the glove box theres some air line tie ins that go to my cool and heat panel, air line routing if you know what I mean. Take a look while somebody knows for sure comes along.

I do not know if it is the same line as my 98. There is a tee how you described and if it is the same it sounds like the line that goes into the firewall through a plug just below and behind the tee is not connected. That line feeds to the hvac controls I think. Can you post a picture?
