I cant wait to pay mine off. I havent payed a car or truck of yet. Ive had 3 cars, dodge caliber (POS) I traded in for my wifes Jeep. Im still making payment on my truck and I cannot wait until the day I know its all mine, Ive had a stroke of bad luck getting laid off a lot so I cant drive it like I want to. Good news and Im glad for ya bud
I haven't had to worry about a truck payment for 7 years. But sense my addiction to PMS I feel like I have almost paid for the truck twice. That "almost paid for it twice" is a bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean.
Robin, I hear you on the PMS payments. Trying to keep mine under control, at least until i get all teh maintenance pieces wrapped up, seems like there is always something on one of my vehicles as they are all 100K+ mileage wise.
Starting to amass the parts for my top end rebuild/reseal, then I need to do energy suspension bushings, just about due for brakes, have a ujoint starting to go in the drivers side front axel to tend too. This past weekend I noticed my driveline starting to bang as well, so its time for a slip yoke greasing. Once that is all done, I will be getting it tuned, probably late this summer, will have to give Cody a call, being as he is in MT, livetuning is an option that way.
BilyBob, all that extra money has been deemed as savings by the bride, within 20 minutes of the payoff, an auto deposit was setup, lol
I try to just budget x dollars a month for car maint and upgrades, hence the drawn out process of getting my truck to where I want it, but at least it keeps me occupied, lol
One with a bachelors in accounting and an MBA..... We do well with our financial planning fortunately, never seems to be arguments about money, think alike, which makes life much easier.
