im trying to decide between 1 1/2" long tubes or 1 5/8" shorties. both are gonna be run into a true dual system. ive always been a fan of bigger primaries and i plan on going to a 347 soon but ive also always used longtubes in the past cars ive built. if i could find some bigger long tubes id go with them but all (hedman/flowtech) are only 1 1/2" and i sure am not gonna pay for custom kooks...lol. if there is not gonna be more than a 5rwhp difference between the two id just go shorties for ease of installation. what are your opinions on power differences?
The 1 1/2 long tubes will have better exhaust scavenging , so more low end , the 1 5/8 will probabley put out more HP in the higher RPMs......so depends on what you want ....Lew

thats what i was always told just wanted to verify longtubes= low end and horties = high rpm hp. since ill be getting most my torque from a bottle ill probably get the shorties just to test them out. oh btw i got my sct x3 from vmp. havent plugged it in yet but excited none the less!
