Did the bezel come with the fog light switch, or did you have to add it to the bezel?
Nope, this was a factory installed type deal. Too bad the guy scrapped the rest of the truck, I'da liked to have the lights and the original switch, etc etc off of it.
I'm sure it's gonna look great man. I'm trying to get it as close to factory as I can. I'm in the process of swapping it over to a Lariat interior and it's time to take everything out and paint. I took a few more shots today to get a better idea of the color mine was... I just put my new bezel in too:
Alright, this picture I can see the colors pretty well.
It is a hodge podge of different shades isn't it.
It does look like Light Chamois is the closest match. And it's a 1980 color. It matches the seat, the glove box door.
It looks like the Dash Plastic is Fawn, A 1981 color that wasn't used in 1980, but this could be due to fading. With my 1981 Nutmeg interior, my dash plastic faded differently to the vinyl as well.
The door panels are out of a manufacture date 3/81 or newer truck, so having a partial Fawn interior is possible too.
I'd still choose Light Chamois, as it's a 1980 color.
The Light Chamois Semi Gloss Dia code is 24361.
Most auto part paint stores should be able to mix you up some of that color. They have paint chips there as well.

Yes it certainly is a hodge podge. I definitely like the Light Chamois, thanks a million for the paint code. That's the Ford number?
Yea, the door panels are newer... At some point it was converted over from the slide-locks, but, I like the pop-ups better so that's one thing that's not going back to factory.

I EDITED the following because of your Edit.
No sorry that is a PPG code for semi gloss. 24361
High Gloss PPG is 3057
Ford Code is: M5520
Use the PPG code. It's more known.

1983 That color would be Desert Tan.
Did a search, Here is a 1979 Mustang painted on the outside Light Chamois. The inside color is very simular, except it isn't high gloss.
Well, whatever "official" color it is, mismatched or not, your interior looks just fantastic, fifty! I love the tan-color interior, especially the vinyl seat with those western-style markings on it.

Thanks buddy, I love the western style seat too. It was just a lucky find, 'cause I've never seen one before. I'm going to pull everything back out to paint, dash included. I'm going to restore the wiring harness where it was butchered and fix the rust in the seam on the fire wall, and install dash vents for my heater.
I'd really like to find a company that can make me a Certification label for my truck, preferably with updated color codes and so forth. I had a bit of luck today while rummaging around, I actually found my semi-destroyed original; fell out of the original manual. Heh. According to that, my truck was Wimbledon White with a Blue interior. She's a mutt. Haha...
Just realized your truck is also a flareside and a 300-I6 - even more to like! A chrome front bumper might look better, and match the rear bumper. I've always felt the bumpers should be chrome or if painted, then either white or black. But that's only my opinion. Great looking truck!

She was a 300 I6. I'm building a 429 for her now...
What I was thinking of doing, is taking the bumper, cutting holes in it for round fog lights tucked into the center on ether side of the plate, and getting the whole thing chromed. Kind of like MentalState's ride:
Would you happen to have a picture of a Desert Tan interior truck off an '83 Brochure? It's a pretty nice color on the seat, and I'd hate to redo everything and have it still not match up...
I hear you. Iv been tryin to come up with a way to do a two-tone brown and tan interior that will work with lots of real rosewood trim. Your interior looks great even if it dont match up at all

A tu-tone would look awesome. The center of the passenger-side dash always looked a little bare so I was thinking of running rosewood veneer in the recessed portion; the rectangular-trench depression I mean. Might tie the radio bezel wood and the door wood together a little nicer.

Problems arise when I start thinkin'
There are two different Desert Tans for 1983.
Light Desert Tan, and Desert Tan.
I'm not sure which one is which, but I think it's the light one. My books do not have paint chips. Best I can hope to help you is get you close with some color names, and then have you look at a color chip in the paint supply store.
EDIT: I did a search, Here is an F-150 with light desert tan. The middle color looks really close to your interior seat.
