F350 Drivetrain Problems
I have a 2000, F350 Super Duty, 4wd, 7.3, Automatic Trans. I was pulling a trailer the other day and upon accelerating there was a "thunk" sound and I immediately lost all power to my wheels. It was like it was in neutral. I checked all of the gears and did a visual under the truck. I need to repair the issue myself and need some suggestions on where to start and any other input that may be useful. A friend thought it may be in the transfer case. Thanks

i'd check if maybe the transfer case jumped out of gear i had a gmc do that ounce
i'd pull the drive shaft off of the transfer case and see if the out put shaft is spinning
other wise it may be torque converter or over internal tranny issues
